A350-1000 Seating Capacity
I think we should have max seating count and seat capacity(total possible slots). The max seating count is the seat limit which was granted by the certification agency. It will limit the the max number of seats an aircraft can have. Seat capacity (total possible slots) is the actual number of seats a plane can have. It will set the max number of seat slots an aircraft can have.
The A350-1000 is definitely a larger plane than A350-900, but it has only 35 seat difference compared to A330, 777-200, and A350-900. While it is a fact that A350-1000 can have many more seats than a A350-900, there is nothing to directly prove it.
A350-900 competes with B777-200, and A350-1000 competes with B777-300.
The typical seating of A350-900 is 325, and the typical seating of B777-200 is 317 The typical seating of A350-1000 is 366, and the typical seating of B777-300 is 396 (366)
The typical seating of A350s state Airbus website has a difference of 41. But we cannot assume that the extra 41 seats are all economy making the extra 41 seats to a larger number when talking in terms of slots.
A350-900 is 66.8m long, and B777-200 is 63.7m A350-1000 is 73.79m long, and B777-300 is 73.9m long.
In both cases, A350-1000 match B777-300. The problem comes with the doors.
Both A350-900 and B777-200 have same max seat count, 440. However, A350-1000 has 475, and B777-300 has 550. The reason is that A350 and B777-200 all have 8 total doors, but B777-300 has 10 doors, allowing B777-300 to have greater exit limit which is seen by the game. Unfortunately, A350-1000 has a very similar length to B777-300, but has only 4 doors which limits to 475 exit limit.
In real life, the difference is obvious too. Cathay A350-900 has 38/28/214 config, and A350-1000 has 46/32/256 config. The width and pitch of the seats are the same. Qatar A350-900 has 36/247 config, and A350-1000 has 46/281 config.
Now, I have put these seats in our game. I used basic seat for simplicity. Cathay A350-900 config takes up 364 slots, and A350-1000 config takes up 442 slots. Qatar A350-900 config takes up 463 slots, and A350-1000 config takes up 557 slots. (Note that -1000 has bigger F seats)
The difference between Cathay A350s is 78 slots. The difference between Qatar A350s is 94 slots. This means that the A350-1000 has at least 78 more capacity and up to 94 more slots than A350-1000. So this should place A350-1000's seat slot capacity between 518-534. (This number can be stretched to 550 to match B777-300, a direct competition. Their length varies only 11cm.)
Also, this can be done just by looking at their lengths. The length difference between B777-200 and B777-300 is 10.2m, which counts 110 seats(according to their exit limit) The length difference between A350-900 and A350-1000 is 6.99m.
If we do the math, 110 seats/10.2m = 10.78seats/m. 6.99m x 10.78seats/m = 75seats. 440 + 75 = 515.
Therefore, According to this logic, A350-1000's max seating count is still 440, and seat capacity (total possibel slots) should be at least 515 and up to 550.
I know that there may be limitations, problems, and/or faults in this method, but we know A350-1000 has a higher capacity than what the game says. Can we at least raise the seat capacity of A350-1000? It can be anything higher than 475. I know that there needs to be a document or something to prove it, but it might never come because the max seating count dictates the max number of seats way before we can get to know the actual number of seats possible (aka seat capacity).
In AEn, we have two different aircrafts that is hardly different. In the aviation world, we have two different aircrafts with two different missions to serve with their uniqueness from one another. In order to preserve the level of realism achieved so far and to maintain the informational honesty, it is my request to adjust the max seating count or the seat capacity (total possible slots) of A350-1000.
